| | | The eighth village of The Woodlands is now in development, scheduled to open in early 2007. Plans for Creekside Park call for it to be the most “parklike” of all the villages, with abundant green spaces, ponds and opportunities for outdoor recreation. The most outstanding feature of Creekside Park will be 1,700-acre Creekside Park, featuring seven miles of frontage along Spring Creek. Larger than Memorial and Hermann Parks combined, Creekside Park is part of the Spring Creek Greenway Project, a joint project of Montgomery and Harris Counties that will amass 25 acres of land along Spring Creek for a bi-county nature trail system.
Kayak and canoe launches, a nature center and scenic trails are all being considered for Creekside Park. Similar to all the other villages of The Woodlands, the Village of Creekside Park will include a wide variety of home styles and price ranges, village center shopping, new schools that are part of the Tomball Independent School District, religious congregations and all the other conveniences that make village life so appealing.

Currently in development, the 8th Village of The Woodlands will encompass over 3000 acres with a dedicated 1700 acres in park lands. Bordering the banks of Spring Creek for 7 miles, it will be home to a proposed 25 mile trail and park system; including canoeing, hiking, kayaking, botanical gardens and a nature center. Expected to be completed around 2011, this Village will be home to over 6000 residents.
